On April 10, 2024 at 9:00 am, the start-up ceremony for the trial production of large cylindrical sodium batteries by China Sodium Energy (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "China Sodium Energy") was successfully held. In the the Year of the Loong, the moon, the dragon, the sun, and the dragon, the four dragons gather in sodium energy.
Zhongna Energy is a subsidiary of China National Sodium Corporation and an important production base for all polar ear sodium batteries.
As a key industrial investment project in Baoying County, Zhongna Energy covers an area of about 40000 square meters. The project has an annual production capacity of 1GWh full pole ear large cylindrical cells and 5GWh battery module PACK fully automatic production line, which can provide employment opportunities for more than 500 people.
At the trial production ceremony, Ma Huaping, General Manager of Zhongna Energy, announced that the trial production of the Yangzhou Zhongna Energy Large Cylinder Sodium Power Project has officially begun.
