Dongpo District, belonging to Meishan City, Sichuan Province, is the political, economic and cultural center of Meishan City.In 2020, the gross regional product of Dongpo District was 49.147 billion yuan, an increase of 4.0% over the previous year at comparable prices. Among them, the primary industry added value of 6.096 billion yuan, an increase of 5.7%, contributing to the economic growth of 16.6%, pulling the economic growth of 0.7%; the secondary industry added value of 18.677 billion yuan, an increase of 2.8%, contributing to the economic growth of 32.4%, pulling the economic growth of 1.3%, of which 13.829 billion yuan of value added by the industrial, an increase of 3.0%, contributing to the economic growth of 29.2%, pulling the economic growth of 1.3%. The value-added of industry increased by 13.829 billion yuan, an increase of 3.0%, a contribution rate of 29.2% to economic growth, pulling economic growth of 1.2%; the value-added of the tertiary industry increased by 24.374 billion yuan, an increase of 4.8%, a contribution rate of 51.0% to economic growth, pulling economic growth of 2%.
